Vanaprastha-asrama Guidelines Committee 622 [ACTION ORDER] 1. A

Vanaprastha-asrama Guidelines Committee is hereby established with the

purpose of drafting a set of general guidelines and standards for the

vanaprastha-asrama in ISKCON. The Chairman of this committee shall be

Janananda Das and he will engage the help of Hare Krsna Dasi and her

correspondents who have been formulating written guidelines on this topic.

The committee should have a first draft prepared by the GBC Body meeting of

2001.

 

2. [VISION & GOAL] It is understood that the Vanaprastha is an important and

growing sector of ISKCON's membership. Therefore, establishing guidelines

for Vanaprastha Asram is a necessary step in the ongoing development of this

important Asram.
