If we want maya, Krsna will give us Maya. Srila Prabhupada did change servant and secretaries often enough.
Guest guest
(My question is how come that Srila Prabhupada didn't prevent those devotees from becoming familiar with their spiritual master by sending them away on time or taking some similar action? I am pretty sure that Srila Prabhupada was able to tell when someone was beginning to be offensive toward his spiritual master by developing familiarity.) Sorry for the delay. I have not been getting conference mail for over a month. Srila Prabhupada did try to correct devotees in his entourage. I can't count how many times he called me into his room telling me to wake up his sleeping disciples that didn't get up for the morning program. He also chastised his Sanskrit editor, in my presence for not offering full obeisances. He asked me why I was chanting my rounds. He advises us to minimize our eating and sleeping. The list goes on and on but as Maharaja said ultimately it is up to the individual.
