Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I want to share my experiences of the past year+ On April 26th 2005, I started chanting Mother Lakshmi's bija mantra shrIM pronounced as 'SHREEM,' I also meditated effortlessly twice daily with mantra 'SHREEM' in the same way as I used to practise Transcendental meditation as taught by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi - the Billionaire TM Guru! Within a short period of time extremely positive things happened in my life, I experienced all kinds of abundance, not just money, but all sorts of positive stuff. On 22nd August, about 4 months after starting this sadhana, I experienced transcending or 'Samadhi for the first time on this mantra, I had numerous experiences of this state on my TM mantra 'Aing' pronounced as a 2 syllable word 'iy-ing' On the advice of a Tantric meditation teacher, I changed my Vedic Mantra `SHREEM' to MahaLakshmi's Tantric Mantra 'SHRING' pronounced as it is spelled to rhyme with 'thing' For what is meant to be a more powerful mantra, for me it was one big disappointment, I could not feel Mother Lakshmi's presence/energy, and from my experience 'SHRING' is a corrupted or distorted version of 'SHREEM,'and I have gratefully returned to 'SHREEM' putting it all down to experience! I think that the theory that Northern India and Tibet stole the Mantras from the South holds true. I don't believe mantras pronounced with 'ng' endings as opposed to 'M' endings are more powerful, I think they are corrupted versions of the truth. I would appreciate opinions and comments based on experience, not theory! Namaste, Billy Jay Gurudev

Guest guest
Are you an indian ? Your name does not sound like . India being democracy you are allowed to speak any thing . Just based on your personal expericence how do you come to a decision mantras are corrupted . Could you prove or disprove that mantras have been stolen from South . Are you aware of how the human civilization moved to the south , how tantra emerged . Was it true that the scripts were written all in Sanskrit , what about languages prior to sanskrit like Gupta, Kirati , Newari , Maithili . How about Rig veda was it also stolen from South then why most south indians follow Yajur veda which is written long latter. How about Tara mantra given by Vishwamitra, was it also stolen ? Is the durga beej as worshiped by Raja Ramchandra also stolen or Ayodhya is in South and not North ? Are you aware about the significance of naad vindu in a beej ? Is is counted when the mantranka is calculated . What is the orginal sound when a bell is rang ? If all the ing mantras are false then are all the tantra sadhak from North east including Nepal as well as eastern india like Totapuri , Ramkrishna , Vamdev , Brajabasi Kailashpati all nonsense sadhak as thats the accent of naad vindu in these areas ? How about Abhinava gupta a Kashmiri Tantrik and Agamvagish - they did not attain siddhi ? You would not like to hear theory because it mostly you are not aware . I have been doing it with ing and theres no problem so far rather magics everyday so .... Here there are also people doing with M naad many have had siddhis many are working for it . Your belif is just too negligible to be taken for granted , and my belief is i will get all i want with even a corrupted beej if at all because i heard it from guru . Unless taken from guru all right wrong mantras are dead . Meditation teacher on the west are telling mantras and opening gym for making dollars . Is your teacher having a samrajya abhishek for you to tell all these nice stories . Is you teacher Mike Maagee at London or some one in states . , "biosoundbill" <smithybill> wrote: > > Hi Everyone, > > I want to share my experiences of the past year+ > > On April 26th 2005, I started chanting Mother Lakshmi's bija mantra > shrIM pronounced as 'SHREEM,' I also meditated effortlessly twice > daily with mantra 'SHREEM' in the same way as I used to practise > Transcendental meditation as taught by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi - the > Billionaire TM Guru! > > Within a short period of time extremely positive things happened in my > life, I experienced all kinds of abundance, not just money, but all > sorts of positive stuff. > On 22nd August, about 4 months after starting this sadhana, I > experienced transcending or 'Samadhi for the first time on this > mantra, I had numerous experiences of this state on my TM mantra > 'Aing' pronounced as a 2 syllable word 'iy-ing' > > On the advice of a Tantric meditation teacher, I changed my Vedic > Mantra `SHREEM' to MahaLakshmi's Tantric Mantra 'SHRING' pronounced as > it is spelled to rhyme with 'thing' > > For what is meant to be a more powerful mantra, for me it was one big > disappointment, I could not feel Mother Lakshmi's presence/energy, and > from my experience 'SHRING' is a corrupted or distorted version of > 'SHREEM,'and I have gratefully returned to 'SHREEM' putting it all > down to experience! > > I think that the theory that Northern India and Tibet stole the > Mantras from the South holds true. > > I don't believe mantras pronounced with 'ng' endings as opposed to 'M' > endings are more powerful, I think they are corrupted versions of the > truth. > I would appreciate opinions and comments based on experience, not theory! > > Namaste, > > Billy > Jay Gurudev

Guest guest
Sorry if I caused offence! I have a good teacher of Vedic Mantra and Bija pronunciation, but I have great difficulty with Tantric mantra and Bija pronunciation. For example I have heard the Tantric Bijamantra for Maha Lakshmi pronounced in the following ways:- 1.Shring to rhyme with `Thing, Swing, or Bring' 2.Shring pronounced as `shriing' where the `I' is longer than in the word `ring' 3.Shring pronounced as `shiring' like `shear' and `ing' as in the word `ring' 4.Shring pronounced as `shreeng' that's `shree' to rhyme with `tree' + `ng' So I'm at fault, and I really don't know which is the correct pronunciation, and would really appreciate it if somebody could enlighten me! An audio file of the correct version would be really neat! I apologise for calling Tantric bijas corrupted, I just don't have enough knowledge of them! Guest guest
Jai Gurudev Mantraas are the made from the sounds gathered from universe. Yogis are revealed to Mantraas in deep meditation, when they realise their true self and true nature of brahamaand. That's what I believe. Mantraas are much more than a pure display of intellect. A mantra ties us, brahmaand and the divine together into oneness. I must honour mantraas as one honours the divine. And yogi in oneness is beyond boundaries created by human beings. On the discussion below I think billy seems to have become impatient. Billy "with great power comes great responsibility". Quoting from movie spiderman :-). What billy's Guru gave him was something powerful but I guess billy hasn't realised the importance of it. If one respect the great power, then great power comes to one faster but if one disregards it then the same may so to say kick one. One should have faith and devotion towards mantraas and more importantly towards one Guru. I am sure that everytime I recite mantraas I make mistakes (when my teacher hears me pronouncing mantraas he says what are doing, are you singing a song or reciting mantraas :-)) but still I get results. Its not to weigh down the importance of correct pronunciation and its effectiveness but at the sametime we should not over weigh the importance of pronunciation. I know what my teacher means, he means that if I pronounce it correctly then I can go further. After years of pronouncing I still don't know the correct pronunciation but I guess the devotion carries me forward. I just do it with devotion and may be that right pronunciation when in devotion comes by itself. Lets say one pronounces mantraas correctly but if one does so without faith and devotion then one will still not get results. In this sense mantraas are mysterious :-) seems like mantraas are much more than just pronunciation. Billy I guess if you put in a little more faith and devotion then you will soon see the results. Guest guest
Dear billy namaste Your experiences are as good as anybody else's. Please dont make any mistake about it. Similarly somebody else's experience also counts to him as they have brought in perhaps more results.Especially in the case of Shreem, who is mother lakshmi the saumya version of the Divine shakti. Hence the subtle gentle way works better with her, thats how your positive experience during TM. Shring is the tantric bija that swiftly cuts across lot of negativities too. But alll of us possess certain kind of energies that work faster with another set of energy which is in consonance with our aura. Hence you would find that the ing factor may not work with some like us. With me even the aing doesnot work as effectively as ayeem. I feel because I am pretty contented to carry on spiritual and my material journey together and am not in a hurry to gain spectacular sidhis. But for a tantric attainment of a sidhi itself is the destination. He, i think with due respect to his attainments, is more concerned with attainment rather than veiwing it as a journey where lot would be visible to which one is not to attach itself. At any point we are reacting from any of our tamasic, rajasic or sattwik gunas in various proposrtions. Sometimes tamasik is more, at others satwik is more. That is the matrix of our energy level. As TM vibrates to the fourth state of calm and bliss I feel mosdt of the time the bija mantras that resound with ing really doesnt have much effect or worse adverse effects. Scientifically speaking too, the umm sounds travels from the nasal pasage to the bindu chakra in an elongated mmmm which is more relaxing, blissful then a ing which gets blocked somewhere near the centre of the ajna....While doing a vocal recitation on a Havan perhaps I feel the "ing" beejas work better.... but in TM, all that is soft and subtle works to plant the beejas in the TC state. Perhaps thats why you didnt see any results ! Besides the Shreem bija is the bija of prosperity, peaceful and Blissful like the Divine mother Hence i feel it is to be recited with an eem and not "ing" namaste Nisha a zutshi

biosoundbill
Hi, Some people have asked what mantra do I use? I meditate and chant the MahaLakshmi bija mantra 'Shreem' - if any one wants an audio of this mantra please email me at emofree@eircom.net When meditating I think the mantra sound 'Shreem' effortlessly, and when chanting I focus on MahaLakshmi, and what I want in my life as opposed to what I don't want!
