Dear Ranjan ji

You are absolutely right. Under different systems, the role can not

change.

Keeping astrology simple is vital and so many complicating theories,

often overlapping each other - creates lots of confusion to my limited

mental faculties. I stick to basics and avoid getting into overlapping

rules, unless exceptions can be applied consistently.

(Little off the subject of sun / venus and combustion) while

evaluating the role of sade sati - you are absolutely correct in point

out the role of saurn's attributes in getting results. Typically, the

astrologers engaged in panchang writing advised me that during sade

sati - ignore the role of dasa bhukti read with saturn giving

proportionate results for the systematic efforts and patience

exercised (for bhagya cease to work, and only karma delivers). Did you

observe the role of saturn getting modified in cold climates (say

western world or IT industry or luxurious offices with efficient

atmosphere)- and saturn giving excellent results (boom of IT industry

in Southern India is working well against other industries in the

similar region). Effecient working mechanics will lead to better

saturn results. Middle East has been a extreme hot weather, and with

effective air conditioning etc, saturn has affected great results for

their growth. Many may not like to correlate astrology with efficency,

but at some stage- when we talk of events and results, the planet got

to be seen/observed for an astrological interpretations. Likewise

machine tool worker / construction worker earns less (governed by

saturn); and worker in good atmosphere (say IT workforce) earns well.

Like any other results, there may be role of other planets (mercury,

venus, mars, rahu etc...), but my point is to stress on gear of saturn.

I may be on wrong foot, while assuming the above indications of saturn

at large. BTW, for leo lagna, saturn is assumed malefic traditionally

and sade sati too; in my experience - I done well; and if If I

correlate the above, it fits well.
