Guest guest
Greetings, I am very excited that this group exists. Please bear with me as I have very little knowledge about Vedic astrology. However, I want to learn as I feel it is truly a large key in the healing process and understanding ourselves. I have a question-I was adopted and my time of adoption was not recorded. This has always worried me. Is it possible to have an accurate reading without the exact time? Also, since I am at the very beginning, what is the first step, such as books or lessons? Blessings, Mahita
Guest guest
Dear Mahita -- Welcome to this wonderful reality! Birthtimes, even when known are often questionable and so raise the eyebrows of different jyotishis to a different extent! Consider yourself lucky, actually, because if you are sincere about knowing something in your life, there is a variety of techniques in jyotish that are known as prashna jyotish that would answer your question! The general caveat is that when you approach a jyotishi, please be sincere and have a clearly defined query/question in mind. This is not just a technique specific to indian astrology and in other circles is also known as horary astrology. The premise is based on what is similar to what Jung (C.G. Jung the psychologist) described as 'synchronicity'. He stated, "What is born in the moment bears the quality and characteristics of the moment" This includes not just an individual but also the question that is born in a given moment! Guest guest
Dear friend, Welcome to the group. I personally would suggest you the following to make a great entry in to the divine world of Vedic astrology. Light on life - Hart deFouw & Robert E. Svoboda Astro sutras - J.N.Bhasin Art of prediction - J.N.Bhasin Events & Nativities - J.N.Bhasin After these you can easily switch to classics. In modern time I simply don't believe there is some better author than Late Mr. J.N.Bhasin. You will realise by yourself. Good luck ! Best regards Jainendra Mahita Devi <mahita_devi > wrote: Greetings, I am very excited that this group exists. Please bear with me as I have very little knowledge about Vedic astrology.
