Guest guest
Dear Yaduraja Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP! > Twice now in this debate you have claimed that Srila Prabhupada wanted his > Godbrothers to become diksa gurus for ISKCON I did not claim that. Please carefully read my texts. I wrote, "Srila Prabhupada asked his godbrothers to help him in ISKCON". If you think that this means "Srila Prabhupada wanted his Godbrothers to become diksa gurus for ISKCON", then this is your speculation. > Of course the reason you keep doing this is to try to distract from the > simple reality, that Srila Prabhupada set things up with himself as the > sole diksa guru for ISKCON with no order that this should ever change, Oh, you know why I am doing certain things, even if I did not tell you. Now it is getting really funny. > or hint that he really wanted something very different, namely a multitude > of competing diksa gurus all acting concurrently within the same > institution from 1966 onwards. Srila Prabhupada's program was that in 1975 all his disciples are allowed to initiate (letter to Hamsadutta). But probably you ignore that. Or you claim that by "to initiate" Srila Prabhupada did not mean "to initiate". > Since Srila Prabhupada did that it must have been Krishna’s plan since it > is OUR PHILOSOPHY that the pure devotee always carries out Krishna’s plan. > The pure devotee WANTS to do this since he WANTS to please Krishna. So you claim that from Srila Prabhupada's activities one can conclude Krishna's plan, and from Krishna's plan one can conclude Srila Prabhupada's desire. If that is true, then you should be able to answer following questions: If it was Krishna's plan to have a League of Devotees in India, then why could Srila Prabhupada not successfully establish it? And if it was not Krishna's plan to have a League of Devotees in India, then why did Srila Prabhupada try to establish it, although he knew that this was not Krishna's plan and he wanted to act only according to Krishna's plan (as you say)? If you cannot give a satisfactory answer, I will conclude that what you say about Krishna's plan and Srila Prabhupada's desire is not to be taken seriously. Following statement (beside others) is still unproven: If it was Krishna plan to have multiple diksa gurus for ISKCON in 1966 with Srila Prabhupada as one of them, then that would mean Srila Prabhupada was acting in defiance of Krishna’s plan. To prove this statement you must tell us at least one concrete act by Srila Prabhupada that was in defiance of Krishna's plan. > Barking up the wrong tree means challenging points that cannot possibly > help you prove your position, which is apparently that our position is > wrong. Thank you for the explanation. But what was the purpose of saying that? What did you want to achieve? ys Ramakanta dasa
