Guest guest
Dear All, The other day Shree Maa was asking our peacocks what purpose they came to this earth. They told her that they came to give beauty to Mother Earth. Maa was very pleased with this answer. If you have ever seen a male peacock spread it's feathers it is a very beautiful sight and when we see beauty we get infinite consciousness. This is what Shree Maa calls Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram. Truth, consciousness and beauty. Thanks Maa for sharing your beauty with all of us and Mother Earth, too! Om namah shivaaya!
Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya! The Lord Krishna was really pleased with these birds as they give beauty to the Mother Earth. Beauty is just another word for truth as truth always adds beauty to the soul. The Lord honoured the peacocks as well as this fact by placing a peacock feather on His head. Guest guest
Thank you Parvati maa, Your posting helped to complete a thought I have been reflecting on since this morning's meditation: that, for most of us, the pure and infinite Consciousness is too great a leap of perception to become consciously aware of all at once, but that Its attributes---Truth, Goodness ("Shiva" also means infinite Goodness), and Beauty---are, at all times and in all circumstances of life, being Communicated to us by the Holy Spirit, the Divine Current of our Mother's Presence. That Holy Current of the Mother's Presence is flowing to every one of us, at all times, and in all circumstances of life. And a spiritual aspirant is merely one who consciously and continuously invites and invokes that Presence (which is always already there, and ready to bless with every spiritual attainment and attribute) into one's life and consciousness. That sadhana is no more and no less than a simple turning to that Presence, and feeling it, as it engulfs us, and descends into us, and transforms us from material to spiritual beings--whatever the material form of spiritual practice one may be engaged in. And that all material forms of sadhana: whether silent meditation, worship, prayer, chanting, scriptual study, or selfless service, are in reality a sort of "waiting before" one or more of those three Magical Doors---Truth, Goodness, and Beauty---which lead one to the tangible perception of the flow of Mother's Divine Presence. Guest guest
thank you for posting this. thank you all for posting your realizations and understandings. for this neophyte to learn is not an easy task. too proud...too busy, too tired...too everything. now, since i came to this group, and i begin to listen to you and hear The Gurus chanting on their site....maybe i will learn and my heart will soften and open. my personal journey has been full of pain, survival, tamos and greif. so i can only pray and cling to faith and hope. thank you from my heart. in joy senka ty_maa <ds.james (AT) comcast (DOT) net> wrote: Thank you Parvati maa, Your posting helped to complete a thought I have been reflecting on since this morning's meditation: that, for most of us, the pure and infinite Consciousness is too great a leap of perception to become consciously aware of all at once, but that Its attributes---Truth, Goodness ("Shiva" also means infinite Goodness), and Beauty---are, at all times and in all circumstances of life, being Communicated to us by the Holy Spirit, the Divine Current of our Mother's Presence.
