ஞானத்தால் தொழுவார்கள் சில ஞானிகள்

ஞானத்தால் தொழுவேன் உனை நான் அலேன்

ஞானத்தால் தொழுவார்கள் தொழக் கண்டு

ஞானத்தாய் உன்னை நானும் தொழுவனே.

Meaning:

There are some wise who worship with wisdom;

I am not one who worships You with wisdom;

Seeing those who worship with wisdom, worshipping,

oh the Wise, I am also worshiping You!

Notes:

1. I am not having the wisdom to comprehend You.

However I could see those of great wisdom worship You.

So I also worship You!

2. The great thing about shaivam is that it does not

demand blind faith. It has sound philosophical system

for somebody to follow till one gets satisfied.

However shaivam does not force philosophical

analysis on those who want a simple solution

making the people just confused. There are essences

of the experience of the great saints available as

simple how to do recipe. Following that itself would

lead one to the glorious shivagathi.
