            4 PM:  Bhajan Competition Commences (for all age groups) in

Prayer Hall

 

                                    Age groups:  12 and under; 13-18; 19+

 

            6 PM:  Procession of Guru Padukas from Guru Nilayam to Prayer

Hall for Guru

 

                        Paduka Puja.  Lighting of Inaugural Lamp.

Guru Charitra Parayana Commences in Datta Temple after or duriing Guru

                        (will continue for entire weekend)

 

            8 PM:  Dinner/Prasadam

 

 

2.  Sunday, May 28th

 

                8:30 AM :  Abhishekam to Lord Dattatreya and Anagha Devi in

Temple followed

                               by Aysush Homa in Unity Hall.

 

             9 AM:      Akhanda Namasankirtena commences in Unity Hall.

 

                       .     Will continue all day up to 5 PM.

 

           

 

12 noon     Sri Swamiji's Birthday Message via live video broadcast from

 

                  Mysore

 

 

                        Activities for Children during the day coordinated

by SriKant and others

 

 

             1 PM:  Lunch/ MahaPrasadam

 

             3 PM:  DYC-USA Board of Directors meeting in Guru Nilayam

 

             5 PM:  Bhajan Competition continues in Prayer Hall.  

 

 

             7 PM:  Prize distribution for Bhajan Competition.  Speeches.

 

             8 PM:  Dinner/Prasadam

 

            

 

 

3.  Monday, May 29th

 

            10 AM:  Anagha Vratam in Prayer Hall

 

                           Conclusion of Guru Charitra Parayana

 

            12 PM:  Conclusion of Celebrations
