Guest guest
Sat Nam Abinashi! It is better to take the oils with other foods unless you are purposely attempting oleation as a treatment. If that is the case, the oleation should be supervised by an Ayurvedic Practitioner or Physician. Taking the oils on their own may dampen the agni (digestive fire) in the belly. That may lead to stagnation and Vata or Kapha out of balance. If you take the oils with food as an anupana there is no concern about agni and whether or not your body is receiving the nutrition. Almond oil in Golden Milk (warm milk, spices and honey are anupanas), Sesame oil and Olive oil while cooking your food is the ideal way. Great to see you delving in deeper with nutritional healing. How did the oils you purchased from me work for you? Oleation of the skin through Abhyanga is also an important part of this oil therapy. Blessings in Health! Guest guest
Dear Brenna in Vancouver: > Can one make Golden Milk with Soy, Rice or Almond Milk if one does not > eat dairy? I certainly do! I think of milk is just a vehicle for turmeric and almond oil. Blessings, Awtar Rochester, NY
