Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krishna || Dear Visti-ji, Namaskar. I have a question related to retrogression in Jataka charts. Retrogression indicates strong chesta bala and is interpreted as a strong desire of that graha to give some effect. However, does this retrogression apply to the entire life of the native, or it subsides after a time in life ? I remember Sanjay-ji, in a message in a very long ago, hinted at this possibility. He said, a retrograde graha indicates some punishment from the kind (Surya) as they indicate an opposite direction of travel to that of Surya. This effect strikes at a particular year in life. This is applicable for the grahas if they are in the 7th, 8th, 9th from Surya's rasi position. The process is as following: take the 180 deg point from the grahas position. Calculate the longitudinal difference between this point and Surya's position. This represents year of life when the king's wrath will strike. Thereafter the graha is no longer troublesome. He gave an example with his own chart and the dog-biting incident (there Shani is taken as Shani indicates dogs). >From this can we conclude that after a certain period (say after the significances of the retrograde graha have fructified) the graha behaves as direct ? The question came to my mind because it is said that graha in debility but retrograde shows that the graha eventually will give results of exaltation i.e. reversal. Does this reversal happen life-long ? Best wishes, Sourav ==================================================================
