Guest guest Posted May 26, 2006 Report Share Posted May 26, 2006 I would like some clarification on the strenght of moon in my chart. Moon is placed in 1st house with Ketu. It is receiving 7th aspect from 3 planets - Rahu,Mars and Jupiter. 1. Is my moon afflicted? 2. Being placed with Ketu and receiving 2 first class malefic aspects, does it lose its ability to cast a benefic aspect on my 7th house? 3. As I am Aquarius lagna, Moon rules my 6th house. Does this make it a functional malefic for me even though it is usually a benefic? Moon is also my Atmakaraka - I was reading on this subject and learnt that it is often the cause of our birth. Moon, being the planet representing my mother - is it trying to tell me something about my mother or my relationship with her? My 4th house ruler is Venus and has gone to 12th house. But I was not separated from my mother. So what does my Moon indicate? My instict is that it is not well placed, so is it ruling over my mind and emotions? (I am very emotional by nature). Moon is under association of mars / rahu / ketu and is certainly becomes weak (in the absence of constellation details). Also - in your chart - planets in kendra from moon (mars, jupiter, mercury, saturn) etc gives lots of strength to moon as well. Read these planetary positioning from the house they are lord of (relative positioning) or the house you want to see the results of - this will unlock lots of clues.
