Guest guest
I wonder why the whole story about whether woman can or cannot take positions of TP is taking so long debates? First of all, it's not a scientific approach. If there are female candidates on these positions, why don't we make an experiment and give them this positions? And then we will say our judgement, considering the outcome. Because I think that the main thing is not male/female question, but an efficiency of persons in their administrative positions. If they are doing good as TPs, so no matter whether they are male or female, white or black, hispanic or caucasians, they should continue to do the good work. If I would be a GBC man, I'd focus on efficiency. Another thing, what I was thinking about, is why did Srila Prabhupada called these managers as "temple presidents" and not "temple kings" or "temple landlords" or "temple directors"? Maybe there is a hint for us that a selection of TPs should be done on election basis, so that congregation could vote for the most trustworthy person? ys, Oleg.
