Dear Mataji: Pamho, agtSP I am not interest to start a new debate on prabhu & Mataji, but if you read clearly ALL Srila Prabhupada's instructions on the matter you won't find evidence that he instruct that among ladies we MUST call Prabhu one to each other. I understand that some ladies feel good being call prabhu even that is a male gender word. But personally I don't like it. I feel good being call Mataji, and you CAN find quotes by SP where he clearly say that it is good to address women. May be some INDIAN MATAJIS can HELP us writting for us western ladies, what is the tradition in INDIA to be call between ladies. I lived in South India for a few month during 1987 and learn there to call Mataji from ladies to ladies, I NEVER heard the word prabhu between ladies. Can some one confirm this or comment? thank you very much, ys, Sridhari devi dasi
