Thats actually the best interpretation of this statement from Prabhupada in

regard to the woman class. And thus explained I could accept it, and I think

many of our matajis who had otherwise some problems in accepting this

statement, whould have no problems if they are honest with themselfs, to

accept it in this way.

 

So it seems to me you have no problems with interpreting Prabhupadas

statements, if there is a need to do it in order to understand them

properly, isn,t it?

But it seems you adjusted one of his statement already, and very well in my

opinion, and rejected thus another different understanding of the same

statement by Prabhupada. Unfortunally he is no longer physically present

with us so that he could tell us for shure what he really meant by this

statement of him. So who or how should one solve this or other similar

problems in understanding the interpretation of some controversal Prabhupada

statements.

 

Prabhupada was obviously refering in this case, as you explained to the

spiritual intelligence and not necesarily to the amount of intelligence we

generally understand as the material energy one may posees by which one can

discriminate or understand material things better, and needet in the process

of aquiring material knowledge and studdiying.

 

Thus explained it could well be therefore, that even the most intelligent

man in the material world could have a less developed amount of spiritual

intelligence than a otherwise materially lesser intelligent woman but who

accepts the process of Krsna consciousness and Krsna as the Supreme

Personality of Godhead.

Dear Pragosh Prabhu,

 

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

 

I applaud your loyalty to your wife and your willingness to defend

her honor. I wish we had more ksatriyas in this movement and more

"women protection" programs.

 

However, your sentence:

.....shows that you may not understand US laws very well. If you

follow through on your threat, the Berkeley police will most likely

be waiting for your arrival and put you and your 4 sons in jail and

juvenile hall (depending on their ages). Then (unless you are US

citizens) you'd be all unceremoniously deported and probably never

given a visa to visit the US again.

 

Maybe you could come up with some way of defending your wife's honor

that doesn't involve breaking the law?
