Madhusudani prabhu, Please accept my humble obeisances, all glories to Srila Prabhupada and the assemble Vaisnavas. Maybe your assumption is not correct and Pragosha prabhu is not refering to something you were involved in or the GHQ was involved in. But I have heard the sentiment he is refering to from older devotees and not all women by the way. There are some who do have difficulty with Srila Prabhupada's descriptions of women and their concern was in reference to attracting new and younger women to ISKCON, not to be able to use the books at the university level. Since these were personal discussions I am not about to say who was voicing these opinion, and in fact I do not even know if these devotees still hold these opinions, but suffice to say that these senitiments do exist outside of the realm of the communications you have referred to. Perhaps that is what Pragosha is referring to. Yhs, Kanti dasi

It is the only thing that would make sense because I have not participated in any other discussions that could be miscontrued as criticising Srila Prabhupada for being sexist. And he asked specifically if *I* had voiced any such thoughts. In addition, the VAST texts were leaked to VNN last year and I subsequently received a barrage of letters asking me exactly what Pragosa asked. > But I have heard >the sentiment he is refering to from older devotees and not all women by the >way. That's intelligent. I wouldn't want anyone else to be subjected to a witchhunt similar to the one I haev experienced during the past few years. >Perhaps that is what Pragosha is referring to. If it was, he is even more ill-informed than I thought, since those discussions didn't involve me. If he's concerned about other people's statements, he needs to ask those devotees personally. If he doesn't even know who they are, I would recommend that he stop repeating such rumors, which are simply vague, general accusations with no evidence. That practice falls under gossiping with malicious intent, which does nothing but spread ill will and certainly does not seem like it would inspire anyone in developing love for Krsna. What a waste of time! Ys, Madhusudani dasi
