There are thousands of devotees all over the world, preaching and serving Srila Prabhupada's movement, who are not consulted on anything. Based on my travels, over 80% of the very serious devotees I meet are just spectators because in Iskcon it is the vocal minority which sets the agenda for all these discussions and actions. Most devotees I know, say with disgust - 'I don't download anything from Com', because, rather than provide the association of devotees, it seems to provide the same kind of association one gets in a karmi organisation - who wants more of it in one's spiritual life, also? Sorry to say this, and I don't mean the participants in the Granddisciples conference or anyone in particular. It is just that the strident tone of the majority of postings puts off most devotees. And conceals the fact that most of the participants are actually very nice devotees, but something happens when they start writing on the PC!
