Guest guest
We all agree something has to be done. But what to do? that is the question! Adri is not going to listen to anyone and stop. Mayapur cannot keep quiet. It has to defend ISKCON. Now a kolkatta devotee says in the media that Mayapur is wanting its properties. What nonsense! Just shows kolkatta doesn't consider itself part of ISKCON. Adri thinks kolkatta centre is his private property. Maybe the medical reports will clear everything. It beats me why a man should kill himself if he is confident of being innocent. His suicide proves that he is guilty. Why can't someone interview the lady who made the rape complaint and give it to the press? It could keep kolkatta quiet for some time. The initial report said that when the lady went to collect her pension, she went along with her son. Does the son not have anything to say? Could we also know from ISKCON's legal team what is happening with the rtvik case filed in court by Adri and Madhu? Why do we not get prior information of all these things that happen from temple leaders. We get to know only after it comes out in the papers. And, what happened to the Communications office for India? Ys Sumithra krishna das

If they need to be *expelled*, they must be on the inside now. If they were truly "external", no expulsions would be necessary. Personally, I think the fact that Adri and Madhu Pandit were initiated as Prabhupada's disciple and granddisciple, respectively, and both hold positions in ISKCON definitely makes them insiders. You may disagree with their actions, but what are your grounds for saying they're "external"? Between the Calcutta lawsuit, the gurukula lawsuit, and this recent case, I definitely agree with Nayana-ranjana prabhu that there is cause for concern. The question is, what should we do? I keep hearing calls for reforms, but have seen little in terms of practical steps in that direction. Ys, Madhusudani dasi
