Guest guest
> Newsletter of the Iskcon Revival Movement (IRM) Issue 31 > > Message from Adridharana Dasa, Temple President ISKCON Calcutta: > 1. BBC Glorifies Srila Prabhupada to the World Srila Prabhupada was glorified worldwide by the UK BBC owing to two decades of very hard work by numerous faithful ISKCON UK devotees, not the few trouble making people who make up the IRM. > 2. Blasphemous GBC Boasts that Srila Prabhupada "is Dead" This is an example of cognitive distortion at its worst. The GBC in question made the statement not as blasphemy but as a statement according to the context. We are sick of hearing the ritviks put offensive words into others' mouths. > 3. Classic Quotes This is another example of the same thing: The GBC chairman makes a statement in a particular context and the ritviks represent it with their usual and blatantly obvious sick twists. The compiler of the IRM newsletter, Adridharana Dasa, is currently in serious breach of his "Oath of Allegiance" to ISKCON which he took in front of the Deities and is therefore automatically disqualified from occupying the post of an ISKCON TP. Yet he blatantly refuses to resign as a gentleman would and holds onto his post by legalistic force which has wasted very large sums of Srila Prabhupada's sacred money. Faithful ISKCON devotees therefore do not want anything to do with his offensive, time wasting IRM newsletter. In fact, the sending of his IRM newsletter to this and other conferences is spamming. The last thing members of ISKCON want to know about is the same old ritvik trash. Below is our SysOp's definition of spamming: > 9. Representation and Fees for Spam > > If you send out spam mail via BES, you agree to pay the company a fee of > 2500 SEK for each occurrence. Spam includes all forms of unsolicited > mail, i.e. bogus virus warnings, surveys, chain letters, unwanted > advertisements, pyramid or "get rich quick" schemes, or any commercially > oriented materials not requested by the receivers. Since the UNSOLICTED IRM newsletter contained false information, falsely accused a GBC of blaspheming Srila Prabhupada, and grossly takes quotes of the GBC Chairman way our of context it is largely seen as offensive and unwanted in the public and unrelated conferences to which it was sent such as India (Continental Committee) Open (Forum), Varnasrama development, and Free Forum (Announcements). I would therefore appeal to the BES SysOp, Raktambara Prabhu, to either levy the spamming fine or anul the membership of the sender of the newsletter, Madhusudana (GKG), as per the agreement everyone else on PAMHO has entered into. ys ada
