The Bangalore congregation is a shining example of how ordinary, humble

devotees, without any official position in Iskcon, can get together and

resist the ritviks who are trying to use Krishna's money and property as

their family treasure.

 

The dedication with which they have stayed together, and finally started

their beautiful temple is a great inspiration. In these dark days of Iskcon

when several devotees are busy attacking seniors and each other, the

Bangalore congregation, in spite of the usual personal differences which

arise among people, have risen above this and concentrated on serving Srila

Prabhupada and Iskcon.

 

Bangalore is also a case study to show how the bhakti vriksa program

empowers devotees in such a way that they can work together and do

everything which a big temple does, in spite of the fact that 80% of their

time is committed to work and family. It also shows how a strong bhakti

vriksa program will help Iskcon survive local upheavals and keep the

devotees united and inspired to serve Iskcon.

 

So many sannyasis and other temple resident devotees from other yatras have

also given their time to encourage them! This is the true Iskcon, not the

negative one portrayed by ritviks and other pessimists!
