So why don't you just admit >it and stop playing your silly little games? Is anyone else tired of this thread? It's obviously a question of definition. Adri feels like any Mayapur devotee who would enter the Calcutta temple with the purpose of taking it over is a "goon" or "thug", Ajamila feels that they're "gentle vaisnavas" taking back what belongs to them. You two are never going to agree on your terminology and thus not on who would be killed by the gunmen (goons, thugs, or gentle vaisnavas). I pray that there will be no storming and no shooting. There has already been one life lost recently. I wish all sides would wake up and see where this is potentially heading. Nothing is worth more bloodshed. I'm soon getting to the point where I don't care who initiates whom. I just want the fighting to stop. There is nothing spiritual about this. And I also couldn't agree more that there is absolutely nothing spiritual about threatening to kill Vaisnavas. The gentlemanly course of action for someone in Adri's position would be to resign gracefully; but Adri won't, he's too stubborn. And it is very sad that his stubborness has developed to the point of threats to kill anyone who tries to remove him. As you well know for many years we painstakingly listened to every single point Adri had to make. But because nearly everyone in ISKCON has rejected Adri's ideas he has reacted very, very angrily. Adri's consequent ungentlemanly behaviour is damaging ISKCON's good name. But it seems Adri cares more about his personal considerations rather than ISKCON. So I think it is important we keep talking to Adri in case at any pint he has a change of heart. But at the moment that seems highly unlikely. Apart from Calcutta and Bangalore this kind of regrettable disturbance has never happened anywhere else in ISKCON. So let's pray for a peaceful solution. ys ada
