Guest guest
Home Base: Sri Mayapur Candrodaya Mandir, Navadwip Dham, Nadia, WB, INDIA Srila Prabhupada's Vyasa Puja DAy. My Dear Godbrother Jasomatinandana dasa, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! I have read you letter carefully and noted the contents. My comments are given below. I want to take this oppurtunity to offer my apologies for carelessly stating: > Adri made a big thing of this but instead Yasomati Nanda das is such a > totally 100% blind follower of Adri that he can do anything and he won't > object. This was said because when I arrived in India in Mumbai everyone I talked to there was commenting on how you had been talking on how Dayaram das and ultimately myself had made a false rape case just to harrass Adri. I should have phoned you up and questioned you about it. Please send me your phone numbers so I can do so in the future in case need ever arises. I was upset when I wrote this since I had just talked to the rape victim and was emotionally upset seeing how this innocent village lady, my disciple, my daughter, widow of my spiritual son had been put to so many difficulties and instead of getting support from the local TP and other Indian leaders she was being falsely accused. I am grateful to you for explaining all the ways you don't agree with Adri. It is reassuring and I appreciate it. At least now I know where you stand. Everytime there was a vote it seemed like you supported Adri. It seemed like you always believed his word over mine or Dayaram's whenever the topics came up. What I said was: "Yasomati Nanda das is such a totally 100% blind follower of Adri that he [Adri] can do anything and he [Yaso] won't object." The stress was on Yaso not objecting to Adri's major crimes in public, but instead objecting and accusing Dayaram das and myself. In any case now I understand better. ACtually I didn't want to send that paragraph and was going to delete it, but accidently the send button encrypted it and it seemed to difficult to unencrypt it and remove it. I don't think what I said was really that bad. It expressed my feelings of not getting any support from Yaso and rather him giving all apparent support to Adri. Now that Yaso Prabhu has clarified all his disagreements with Adri's ideas and practices my respect for him has increased hundreds of times. Having said that, I don't think I deserved the response I got from yaso. Calling me as Mr. Jayapataka Swami, and so many heavy derogatory things. I started to study how many negative things were said against me in response to my one pale statement and I gave up after a while. I really would like to say that I will avoid making this mistake again, but also it isn't fair that Jaso Prabhu has made the extreme response he did. At this difficult period we need to work together and resolve problems. I hope we can establish a better working relationship and work cooperatively to bring a lasting resolution to the problems we are facing in India. So please Jasomatinandana Prabhu. Please forgive me for what I said if you feel it is offensive. Your statements have clarified that you are not a 100% blind follower of Adri Dharan das. ISKCON needs us to work cooperatively together. My motive is to please Srila Prabhupada and His Divine Grace said that the more we can work cooperatively together it will please him. So I want that we should please Srila Prabhupada as I am sure you do too. Your servant, Jayapataka Swami
