leaders requesting them to attend the Communications Training course.

I'm writing to invite you to attend and/or send a qualified member of your

temple community(ies) to the ISKCON Communications Training to be held in

Mayapura immediately following the GBC meetings.

 

The course is a very hands-on, experiencial-based overview of the principles

of effective communications. When applied these practices improve our

preaching and outreach at the local, national and international levels.

 

The course was developed over two years with the input of international

communications and VTE devotees, and other experts. Topics include public

speaking, media, government relations, listening skills, working with

scholars, internal communications, interfaith, strategic planning, and

extensive "On Camera" (interview) training.

 

This year India will face continued challenges/opportunities from media

attention regarding the court cases in the US and India, as well as your

significant proactive preaching efforts. Therefore, I strongly recommend

that at least one key person in your area(s) receives this training.

 

The course has been taught in the United States, England and Mayapura.

Response has been very positive. It is a worthy investment of time and

manpower. There is a minimal fee, as the course is arranged through the

efforts of the MIHE. Course times are morning sessions from Feb 21-26.
