Dear Prabhu, pamho, thank you for all your help.

 

It would be great if in future someone makes a book about the “history and

geography” of ISKCON Ratha-yatras, and then the photos you have can be very

useful for it. But to make such a book is a “huge project” (as Nagaraja

Prabhu, the BTG Editor, wrote to me), and I don’t have the time, nor the

capacity, to do it. What happened is that recently the King of Puri went to

Russia and was greatly impressed with the sincerity and enthusiasm of the

devotees who worship Lord Jagannatha there. After returning to Puri the King

told different people about it, and the Secretary of the Jagannatha Research

Institute, which is directly connected to the King and to the Temple in

Puri, requested me to give them the information or better just write an

article about how the worship of Lord Jagannatha and especially the

Ratha-yatra is introduced and spread all over the world by Srila Prabhupada

and his followers. This article will be included in the annual Ratha-yatra

magazine printed in Jagannatha Puri, and it is a very good opportunity to

glorify Srila Prabhupada and to inform the local scholars and officials, the

priests and pilgrims, etc. about ISKCON’s great service to Lord Jagannatha.

This is also part of our PR endeavors, to make all the important persons in

Orissa, including the temple administrators, agree that foreign devotees

should be allowed into the temple. Apart from that, I hope that the devotees

will find some interesting and useful information in this article after I

send it out. As far as making something bigger, like a book, if you or

anyone you know can do it, that would be great!

 

So the photos I don't need right now, but I do need the names of the temples

where there are Jagannatha Deities, and if They were installed by Srila

Prabhupada personally, it should be mentioned, and all the places where

ISKCON Ratha-yatra is held. Thank you again for your help and inspiration.
