I recently compiled the quotes I'm aware of: Actually the solution is a greater knowledge of our philosophy, and that philosophy includes Vaisnava etiquette. Although I'm not an expert at it, I have witnessed recently some extreme deviations of this etiquette. All the reading in the world will not benefit someone if this practice is not perfected within our movement, and a deep understanding of our philosophy is not imbibed. We should not be content to stay on the surface and accept politeness and nice manners as the method of advancement in spiritual ideals. We should also qualify ourselves properly so that detection of deviations is simple, and not hidden behind apparent 'causes' and 'concern' by those whose intention it is to simply destroy ISKCON and set a cat amongst the pigeons of Srila Prabhupada's preaching movement. There is no such thing as "fighting amongst ourselves" if one of those who has engaged in the battle is not one of us. By 'us', it is meant sincere followers of Srila Prabhupada and practitioners of the philosophy he came to impart.
