Guest guest
> As Kavicandra Maharaj so correctly points out, although the poor need > food, they also need spiritual nourishment. The real issue for me, at this instance, would not be how come that stealing is a nonsense. But wether the person whose name you have been hearing all along is actually the thief. I wonder how much it is actually correct to simply post a cut out piece of Srila Prabhupada's quote without giving a single word of accompanying explanation, assuming that it is self explanatory. The psychological effect being that in the minds of the public the image of Hare Krsna FFL program not more but a kind of a materialistic activity with no reference to KC at all, or to say precisely - a nonsense - , might be created. Yet, in the same time, did Maharaja himself make any such straightforward accusation to stand behind? No. He leaves the burden of responsibility of such eventual "FFL=nonsense" synthesis to you and to your mind. The argumentation that would undermine the activities of FFL has been shifting from most gross (classic) claim "it's a guru-aparadha" to somewhat philosophically theorizing "it's a bodily discrimination" to this latest (so far most subtle one) "it's a nonsense" -- without even making a single statement but by merely posting a little cut-out piece from one Prabhupada's letter, that even was taken out of the context. - mnd
