Dear Prabhus, and Maharajas,

 

Please accept my dandavats. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I am sorry for bothering you with this matter of conflict between myself and

Airavata and his men in Turkey. I wish that we were not polluting your

blissful consciousness with this nasty fight, I deeply apologise for this.

Since I have been accused by their lies I will try to clear these lies here

and after that I will try not to answer any other possible accusations by

these stooges. I believe that most of you already have realized that, this

group of people whom I have ended up falling in to conflict with are willing

to sink so low in their denial and egocentric lives than any decent person

can ever imagine.

It is so ironic and so sad that despite my accusation about Airavata for his

self motivated manipulation and nastiness, Airavata and his men approved

this fact by writing this nasty letter about me. Now everybody can see how

foolish these unfortunate beings are. Despite my warning they still allow

themselves to be manipulated by Airavata das!

How come Airavata das does not include his name to these letters signed by

Amala das, and Narathna das?

Does he not live with them or is he not in Turkey?

The whole world knows that he is behind all these letters.

Are Amala das and Narathna das his aids or disciples?

Maybe Airavata das is ashamed to include his name to these letters due to

his bad reputation, but he is not ashamed to attack me while hiding behind

his men.

So I am asking, Amala das; are you not ashamed to be manipulated by this

man?

Do you have no self respect at all that you allow yourself to be an advocate

of Airavata das?

Why is he afraid to include his name to these letters?

Why are you serving him like this?

Is he your guru, that you feel the urge to defend him?

Narathna das; GBC asked you a question couple of weeks a go, why can’t you

answer the question like a decent man instead of attacking me as a result of

your hopeless collaboration with Airavata das?

Perhaps you were not even born yet when Harivilas prabhu and Jay Advaita

Maharaj were serving Srila Prabhupada. So first of all, learn to have some

self respect and may be after that you might learn to show some respect to

senior devotees. I heard that you sold your flat and gave all your money to

Airavata das; ISKCON is full of stories about some naïve devotees loosing

their life savings by trusting it to unworthy hands. Make sure that does not

happen to you!

Although it was a sheer fact that Airavata did not print any books in

Turkey, and sure enough Airavata was proven guilty of mishandling the ISKCON

funds by ISKCON Minsitry of justice, these shameless men are still claiming

the otherwise. They also claim that Acyuta Madhava sent himself those threat

letters. So he can upset his employer and loose his job? They have a story

for everything. They probably think that we were all born yesterday. This is

just another crazy cult consciousness which has been haunting Srila

Prabhupada’s society for so long. How can you accuse me with illegal book

printing when I printed the books with the full permition and awareness of

the GBC? And complaining about me changing the book titles, is an obvious

indication that you have no idea about translation work. If word to word

translation of a book title does not make a sense in another language, then

the translator suppose to find a word within the meaning context of the

actual title which would make a sense in that language. So since word to

word translation of “Chant and Be Happy” would not make a good title in

Turkish; with the advice of the publishing house I decided to write it as

“Mutluluk Mantrasi” which meant “Mantra for Happiness”. And only after

taking permition from the GBC and BBT I decided to write my name and e-mail

address in the books in order to cultivate inquisitive readers, not for

gaining name and fame as you think.

Unfortunately instead of giving us a decent explanations, these devotees who

claim to be in charge of preaching in the Muslim world go in to denial about

every accusation we made about them. Instead, they twist the facts and turn

around to attack with one last hope of defeating the truth in a cloud of

polemics and lies. But such Duryodhan tactics will only harm themselves.

I do not know if it’s their poor English or madness but “constantly” means

“continuously” or “all the time”. So by saying “Jaya das is constantly

changing wives” they are trying cover their own shame by attacking me with

exaggerated and shameful words. I had an unfortunate divorce (no kids) back

in 94 like the rest of %75 of western devotees, and about four years a go I

remarried to a decent lady who has been doing regular service at ISKCON

Berkeley for the last seven years. I have been happily married since then. I

believe one should be married like a civilized man if he has a desire to

have a company of opposite sex. There is nothing wrong with that. But if

somebody is pretending to be a preacher and meeting prostitutes in hotel

rooms he is the biggest hypocrite. So I am warning you Airavata, if you say

one more bad word about my grahasta life I will not cover your shame any

longer. You know Acyuta Madhava das knows all about you and he is also

deeply disgusted with you. So don’t push your luck too far and put your

shirt on. This kind of sick and envious brahmacari mentality must be erased

from this society beginning with you.

They’ve also written another shameless lie about me being taken down from

Temple Presidency due to a mismanagement? In reality leaving the Temple

Presidency of ISKCON Berkeley was entirely up to my decision as a result of

me getting married and deciding to accept the responsibilities of a married

life. I believe that the Temple President should live in or nearby the

Temple and devote most of his time to the Temple affairs, if not, one should

not try to hang on to that position and leave it to some other good willed

devotee who is capable of doing a good job. So that’s what I did. Harivilas

prabhu and I decided that Bhaktivedanta Institute should be given the

management responsibility of ISKCON Berkeley after I leave, and that’s how

it is since then. But ISKCON Berkeley is still part of me and I still do

regular service there. If anybody has any questions about my temple

presidency in ISKCON Berkeley they are welcomed to contact GBC Harivilas

prabhu. In fact my every major devotional and administrative activity has

been performed under the supervision of GBC Harivilas prabhu and I have

nothing to hide from anybody. However Airavata is the one who hasn’t been

contacting the GBC for many years now and not giving him the accounts of his

activities!

I am being accused of hating Airavata so intensely so that I just make lies

about him and steal his men. First of all, if I had hated him so intensely I

would not have waited so patiently for eight years to write such a letter

about him. As I have explained in my previous letter, I tried to develop

friendship with him, I gave him a chance to work with me and print Srila

Prabhupada’s books, but he let me down, and after witnessing his never

ending atrocities I gave up on him. he has always been threatened by me

knowing that I would not keep my eyes closed to his nonsense behavior. He

thinks that I caused Acyuta Madhava and Bhakta Amit to leave him. In

actuality, as an older brother I only gave some good advise to Acyuta

Madhava which might have helped him in terms of not loosing his self respect

and dignity. Acyuta Madhava left Airavata’s company, because he did not

loose such good qualities and he did not want to loose it. I have never

written to Bhakta Amit until he wrote me about a month a go and expressed

his desire to work with me and Acyuta Madhava das under the supervision of

Harivilas prabhu. Inviting Jay Advaita Maharaja to Istanbul was entirely

Acyuta Madhava’s and Bhakta Amit’s idea and I did not know about it until a

few days before the Maharaja’s arrival to Istanbul.

They are calling me a liar for announcing Acyuta Madhava’s dishearthining

for going back to Turkey. Yes, he does not want to be in Turkey any longer

because he fears that Airavata may try to harm him. He is a young man with

concerns about his future, and he has a desire to get some education.

Therefore he is planning to come to USA.

And also they try to provoke BBT against me by warping my words around. Yes,

I strongly believe that BBT should be helping people like me who are trying

to publish Srila Prabhupada’s books in countries where Krsna consciousness

is unknown. BBT should not be asking such outrageous royalty fees and harass

the devotees with threats of late payment fees. I also deeply believe that

Srila Prabhupada would be agree with me on this issue. I am always ready to

defend this idea, but that does not mean that I refuse to cooperate or work

with BBT. Neither I demonize the BBT officers. But there is a problem and

like civilized beings we have to discuss it and come to a hearty solution.

So don’t try to use this issue for provoking BBT against me; someday you may

suffer from the same problems.

I have no desire to keep exchanging bitter letters with these devotees. But

I will not keep quiet if Airavata and his men tries to discredit a good

willed devotee like Acyuta Madhava das with their lies. I said what I said

and everything I said is still valid. Every accusation I made against

Airavata das is based on facts. But every accusation they made against me is

false except one. It’s true that I haven’t been preaching in Turkey during

the last ten years, but as I explained before I was concentrating on

publishing Srila Prabhupada’s books. That was my priority, because I believe

that he should be the one who is preaching through his books. Our preaching

can only encourage people to read Srila Prabhupada’s books, but if there are

no books available our preaching will have no effect. This does not mean

that I will not preach in Turkey; my preaching has been my translations so

far and I will be preaching whenever I go there, but I want to make sure

that Srila Prabhupada’s books are in the book stores, so I can advise people

to read them.

Therefore my last advise to you Amala das and Narathna das. We hardly know

one another, and my case is basicaly with Airavata not with you. Have some

self respect and dignity and stop being manipulated by this man. If you go

on working with disrespectful man you will become disrespectful and

disrespected in the end.

One day reporters asked to Srila prabhupada; What is like being a devotee?

And He said “being perfect ladies and gentilmen”.

Birds of a feather stick together they say. So be very careful.
