Guest guest
at least you should try to think before you speak for Krsna says - every one follows my path in all respects oh arjuna knowingly or unknowingly so they all have met Krsna funny thing that is what is so great about Krsna he will never interfere with your free will but will try to help you see the light from those who know should you be willing to take advice when the disciple is ready the guru will appear the ostrich may hide his head in the sand and claim there is no sun but the truth is self-evident bij - "Madhusudani Radha (dd) JPS (Mill Valley, CA - USA)" <Madhusudani.Radha.JPS (AT) pamho (DOT) net> "GBC Unmoderated" <GBC.Unmoderated (AT) pamho (DOT) net>; "India (Continental Committee) Open (Forum)" <India.Open (AT) pamho (DOT) net> Thursday, January 10, 2002 11:06 PM Re: Any feedback? > At 10:26 PM 1/10/02 -0500, Akhilesvara (das) ACBSP (Montreal - CAN) wrote: > >Devotees are the best. Guest guest
>My opinion is that this is exactly right -- if one is speaking of pure >devotees. They are everything said above. The problem is that there are >only a very very very very few who are actually pure, and an abundant >oversupply of hard-hearted posers... I always thought of BTG as a magazine for the public, though perhaps I am wrong. I haven't read the article, so I can't really be sure how they said this, but you can imagine what the public would interpret from an article saying devotees are the best everyone else is bad. For them, the understanding of grades of devotees, pure devotees, etc., may not be that clear. When they see you saying devotees are the best, they understand that you are talking about yourself, not about four or five pure devotees who were acharyas. For a magazine meant for public distribution (which includes in recent times the life members), such statements may not be the best way to preach.
