Guest guest
>Are you completely unaware that everyone in India knows of the politics of >Delhi temple? I've heard nothing good about this person who appointed you, >so I wouldn't get too carried away with that 'recommendation'. What you appear to know is at best like 10% of the story. Having been with Mahamantra Prabhu thoughout the case I am aware of probably about 90% or it or more. That you have heard nothing good about Delhi or Mahamantra Prabhu is sad. There are many wonderful things about him that you will probably never know. One is that he is forgiving and has developed a great vision of what he calls "ONE WAY TRAFFIC", that says that once you come to ISKCON and surrender that we have to work with you to adjust, adopt and accomodate. He is like a doctor who will never give up on the patient when it comes to devotees. There were mistakes on all sides of these issues and I believe the GBC EC can attest to that. You seriously need to question your sources if this is all you have to say. >Is this the same person who had 3 karmi, female, meat eating fashion > >designers on the altar in Delhi last year just so he could get his face in >the paper? Again your facts are twisted. The three top 10 fashion designers of India are all vegetarians, Hindus, and one is married to a Brajabasi and worships Krishna at home. The other two practice yoga and meditation and felt so honored to be asked to make dresses for all 6 sets of Deities at their own expense. They imoplemented strict cleanliness standard in their studios while making the dresses and required everyone to chant and be pure vegetarian while working on the project. They got the higher taste and offered to make more dresses for the Deities. Unfortunately the politics against Mahamantra Prabhu disturbed their service this year and if they are not welcome in ISKCON then there are 5000 other temples in Vrindavan that might be willing to engage these sincere souls. I only pray to Radharani that they never read this poison post of yours. They were never allowed on the altar. Where do you get this garbage? My assitant promotions director personally excorted them the entire time they were in the temple. They were allowed to see sample Deity dresses in an area where devotee matajis are allowed so that they could get an idea of what Sri-Sri Radha-Parthasarathi Ji likes. Mahamantra Prabhu had no desire to get his face in the paper, nor did he make any endeavor for that. I called the national press conference and they took photos of the temple president with the designers. You have hang-ups about your photo not being wanted by the media too? How in the world has ISKCON produced such an envious mentality? Are you trying to shock us all into submission by your SICK ranting? >Who was the genius behind that self promotional nightmare? The entire blame can fall on me since it was my idea to try to bring some more celebrity status to the already MOST famous super star Lord Krishna. The results speak for themselves: 1) over 30 newspaper articles showing pictures of the Deities and inviting people to the temple 2) Major prime time coverage on EVERY major news channel in India and all local channels before and during the event. 3) International feature story on CNN. 4) Featured in-flight news coverage (CNN clip) on every British Airways flight WORLDWIDE for the entire month of September showing Sri-Sri Radha-Parthasarathi Ji. 5) We negotiated free television commercial ad space on several television channels for the rights to broadcast the "Deity's designer dress". 6) Live National coverage on Ajjtak all day long on Janmastami day showing the crowds, chanting, etc of ISKCON New Delhi (beating out ISKCON Bombay for the first time 7) According to temple authorities the Janmastami attendance that year was DOUBLE that of the previous year. 8) Free pre-Janmastami advertising of the event on most local cable channels. All told, several hundreds of thousands of (US$) dollars in free global publicity for ISKCON New Delhi. It was all the mercy of Srimati Radharani who wanted to glorify Her Krishna. Why do you disparage this, twist it and try to reduce it to less than nil? That we didn't blow our horn on PAMHO after Janmastami I guess has left room for people like you to speculate and manufacture envious political garbage. Your rumor vine is clearly rotten. Please switch to another section of Lord Caitanya's tree for your news and information. Even CNN would be better and more reliable that the filth you are sucking in, The sanity and credibility of your sources and therefore you are all in question now. >Devotee women >who are initiated brahmins cannot go on an altar in India, >but for >Mahaman's profile and to promote himself, these 3 non devotee, >meat eating >women could. Okay sounds like you have some unresolved issues with not being welcome on the altars in India. My Guru Mata goes on the altar requested by the leaders of ISKCON Mayapur. Maybe they are not asking you because you are not fit for the service? >Is this the same person threatening leaders of our GBC with arrest if his >position is threatened? Mahamantra Prabhu has, for your information, humbly resigned as temple president of ISKCON New Delhi at the request of his Guru Maharaja. Despite the clearly slanted version of events you are privy to, Mahamantra showed extremely great restraint for not having exercised the powers, influence and options at his disposal. If you knew the actual events you, like the GBC EC, would take an entirely different view of Mahamantra Prabhu. >You have associated yourself with political wanna-be's who see ISKCON as a >means to achieving their own goals. I associate with sincere devotees who are dedicated to Srila Prabhupada's mission. That mission encompasses all aspects of human culture and society. That some will be serving Lord Caitanya as Maharaja Patraparudra did by working in the state administration is not beyond the scope of Srila Prabhupada's vision. It sounds like you have some unresolved issues with not being asked to manage any major project in India as well. I have honestly never heard about you. What exactly is your service? I am praying for the spiritual development of you and your party.
