Dear Vishnu Mohan and Divya Purush Prabhus,

I'm very sorry to hear that you are having a hard time in Vrindavan Dhama. I

also know that devotees from the temple do not agree with your views unless

you persuade them. Still, you feel that you have to fight on their behalf to

set things straight. Why is that? The fighting spirit is a symptom of a

ksatriya or then that of a kanistha or prakrita bhakta. Why should you

fight?

For many month devotees from Gopinath Mandir (Mumbai) and from Kunjabihari

Mandir (Pune) have given their valuable association to the devotees from

Krishna Balarama Mandir. I do not remember seeing you take advantage of

their association and chanting attentive Japa with them in the temple room.

That is a major part of Srila Prabhupada's movement. In fact, it is the only

way to protects us from troubles and falling down.

"You must make sure that all of these devotees are following the regulative

principles very nicely. Everyone must rise early, take bath attend mangala

arati, chant at least 16 good rounds, attend class, and follow the four

regulative principles strictly. If these things are lax, then there is no

question of spiritual life. Any one who does not accept these things

staunchly will have to fall down. You must teach them by your own personal

example otherwise how will they learn. If you are loose in your habits, then

everyone in your temple will also be loose in their habits."

(Letter to Abhirama, 16.01.75)

I pray that on my return to Vrindavan Dhama I'll find both of you in high

devotional spirits, happily appreciating the process of Krishna

Consciousness, in the association of all devotees there.

Humbly offering obeisances,

Sankirtan dasa
