Indeed! No other Indian Prime Minister before had participated officially in an ISKCON function, although the late ex-President of India, S.D. Sharma, participated in the opening of ISKCON Bangalore back in 1997.
Guest guest
Dear Basu Ghosh prabhu et al, PAMHO AGTSP Why waste your time thinking or speaking about this nonsense kaliyuga politics? They are all liars, and they don't walk their talk. In the US, they eulogized Reagan as a great Republican, but he increased the national debt by three times, and he raised taxes - just what they say they are against. Clinton came into office as a liberal democrat, but he did the work of the conservatives by limiting welfare and down-sizing government. It's all nonsense that they have any philosophy. Their modus operand is to create profit, adoration, and distinction for themselves. If dumping on Hare Krishna devotees would get them votes, anyone of them would do it. Let it be a lesson unto us. If our Iskcon society's managers don't live on principle, then they will be guilty also of the same hypocrisy. The big temple stores and sankirtan departments buying pirated goods from the bliss brothers are guilty of the same duplicity. It arises out of a desire for the same material gain - profit. I pray to Prabhupada that we can develop a society of concomitant behavior and philosophy. Now that would be revolutionary.
