Dear Prabhus,

 

Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories

to Srila Prabhupada!

 

I've had the good fortune to have all of your

association for some time. I want to tell you that I

do appreciate and feel a lot of respect and affection

for you. You might have heard of the new

Sri-Sri-Radha-Krishna temple devotees are working to

build in Moscow. I have attached a picture and the

project is going to positively affect millions of

people, and certainly transform many lives!

 

H.H. Bhakti Vijnana Goswami oversees the project. I've

stayed in touch with Maharaja, and I feel personally

moved to help him in any way I can. Off course, the

very idea of building the real Vedic-style Temple for

Their Lordships Sri-Sri Radha-Krishna in Moscow seems

very attractive to me. More over, that it finally

comes after so many years of hard struggles with

politicians and other sorts of opponents. I have had a

chance to understand the difficulties that the

devotees have had to face. I feel I have to tell you,

that the devotees in Moscow have performed great

service to Srila Prabhupada, and did find use of their

unparallel determination in preaching.

 

I personally know many Russian devotees in general, as

well as those who lead the Russian Yatra. I'm sure

they will work very hard to properly utilize the new

temple for spreading Krishna-Prema-Bhakti through the

method of harinama-sankirtana, and will nicely take

care of the Deities that are to be installed in the

Temple. I'd hope that you feel in the same way. Since

Srila Prabhupada wanted so much to have this nice

temple in Russia, the devotees are doing their very

best to fulfill His transcendental desire.

I wanted share this with you as it seems to be a good

news by itself, and also I'd like to add, that if you

wish to send us a donation to support the construction

work, it will be most greatly appreciated by the

devotees.

 

Moscow is the second most expensive world's capital

(after Tokyo) and the Russian devotees are

collectively poor. They would gladly use your

financial help if it is at all possible. It seems,

Russia and the USA are as tightly connected as ever

In the very beginning of our movement in Russia in

80-s, early 90-s and up to this date the devotees have

taken most of their spiritual inspiration from the

American preachers, sanyasis, senior Srila

Prabhupada's disciples such as H.H. Niranjana

Maharaja, H.H. Bhakti Bhringa Govinda Maharaja and

H.H. Indradyumna Maharaja, and now the devotees could

use some financial help with the particular purpose of

building the glorious temple as well.

 

Prabhus, in this matter I have a sincere personal

request. If you could assist with financial support

or an introduction to others who may help this will be

greatly appreciated by all of the devotes in Russia.

I will be personally very touched and thankful for any

response from you.! Thank you very much for your

attention and consideration.
