ISKCON invited to PEOPLE FOR ANIMALS(PFA) in mumbai

Dear Vaishnavas,

Please accept my humble obeisances.All glorie to Srila

Prabhupada. PFA campaigns for animal rights,vegetatianism,testing of drugs

and cosmetics on animals,nationwide ban on cattle slaughter etc etc.

ISKCON has received an invitation from "PFA"whose chairperson happens

to be Mrs Maneka Gandhi.The programme is organised by a Event Management

Group known by "MASQUERADE"It is basically a fashion/devotional show and

ISKCON will be given 26 minutes on the stage to speak on animal slaughter

and vegetatianism .

The venue is Bandra/kurla complex and 700 leading industrialist,film

personalities,politicians,animal activists and top social groups have been

invited.The following personalities have accepted the invitation,The

Ambani's,The Birla's,Amitabh Bachan,Amir Khan,Aishwarya Rai,etc etc.

The show will be hosted by Ruby Bhatia and Cyrus Broacha.Channel

4 and Sahara TV is covering live.Radio FM 92.5 will be taking interview from

the complex.The date is 26th october at 8pm.

ISKCON will also provide all 700 special guests with vegetarian

prasadam.This is a very special chance we have got to represent ourselves!

This is my humble request to all Vaishnavas.If you have any

material,CD's,literature,suggestions, please kindly forward it to me.Also If

any GBC,Guru,Temple president or animal activists would like to participate,

please kindly let me know so that I could make the arrangements.
