Srila Prabhupad's whole life was dedicated to bringing the message of

Krishna Consciousness to everyone on the planet. In the 108th year of his

birth, to re-affirm Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupad's pre-eminence as the

greatest spiritual messenger of modern times, a grand-scale Prabhupad

Festival will be celebrated at Cross Maidan in downtown Bombay, modeled

after the 1971 Cross Maidan pandal, where Srila Prabhupada took Bombay by

storm.

 

To inspire the same cultural renaissance and revive the names Prabhupad and

Bhaktivedanta Swami I appeal to all of Prabhupad's children and grand

children to be a part of this joyous celebration of Srila Prabhupad. Once

again the whole city will be alive with excitement about the Hare Krishna

Festival. Thousands of global ISKCON devotees assembled in one place will

demonstrate Prabhupad's living legacy, and for devotees it will be a

blissful experience beyond compare.

 

The dates for the festival are from Saturday the 12th February to Sunday

the 20th February, 2005.

 

Many of Prabhupad's most advanced disciples from around the

world have already confirmed their arrival and participation. They will give

morning and evening lectures just as Prabhupad did back in 1971. A huge

"Global Vedic Village" will be erected to exhibit Srila Prabhupad's

world-wide achievements with displays from dozens of ISKCON branches.

ACCOMMODATIONS, PRASAD:

 

For you to join us for the festival, various options of staying facilities

at Mumbai are given below along with their contact numbers. You may choose

your place of accommodation and contact directly to book it. Devotees are

requested to make their own travel arrangements and book their own

accommodations.

 

Necessary arrangements for Prasadam (BRUNCH & DINNER PRASADAM) will be made

by us.

REGISTRATION:

 

Please REGISTER yourself for the festival. REGISTRATION FORM is given as

Attachment herewith and in text form at the bottom of this letter.

Registration fee for the entire festival of nine days is Rs.100 only,

payable in advance or upon arrival. Completed forms should reach before 21st

January; a late fee of Rs. 50/- will be charged to devotees registering

after that date.
