Invitation for the 4th Annual Sri Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra, GURGAON

Dear Devotees,

We are pleased to announce the 4th Annual Sri Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra to

be held in Gurgaon on Saturday, 25th December, 2004. The Yatra will start

at 11.30 am from Geeta Bhawan (New Colony) and will proceed via Colony

More, Old Railway Station Road, Sohna Chowk, Sadar Bazaar, Agrasen Chowk,

Phuwara Chowk, Gurudwara Road and will terminate at Siddheswar temple.

 

The special attraction for the evening will include a cultural program by

the students from Vrindavana Gurukul.

 

Devotees from all over the world are invited to paticipate in this event

and seek blessings from Their Lordships Sri Jagannath, Sri Baladev and

Srimati Subhadra.

 

In order to make proper arrangements for your stay, transportation, etc.,

we shall be grateful if you kindly intimate to us the date, time and mode

of your arrival.

 

Any devotee, wishing to do some seva for the day can contact the committee

members or reply back to this mail.

10.30 A.M. : Offering of Chappan Bhog to the Deities

11.00 A.M. : Sri Sri Jagannath, Baladeva, Subhadra Arati

11.30 A.M. : Rath Yatra Inauguration by the Chief Guests

 

Rath Yatra route : Geeta Bhavan (New Colony), Colony More, Old Railway

Station Road, Sohna Chowk,Sadar Bazaar, Agrasen Chowk, Phuwara Chowk,

Gurudwara Road, Siddheswar Mandir.

 

EVENING PROGRAM:

Venue: Siddeswar Mandir, Gurgaon

 

5.00 P.M. : Sandhya Arati

5.30 P.M. : Lecture and Kirtan by H.H.Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj

6.30 P.M. : Cultural program by the students of Vrindavana Gurukul

7.30 P.M. : Prasadam feast

Ratha does not have to trod the thorny paths of the material world again

and a person who pulls the chariot of the Lord Jagannath is relieved of

all the push and pull of Maya forever.
