And there we have a difference of opinion -- this so-called order of eternal ritvik intitiation. Yes the system ran for that last few months Srila Prabhupada was on the planet -- the point of contention is that such a system is not standard practice after his physical departure, nor a practice described in Prabhupada books, nor clearly outlined in the very short July 9th letter as has been suggested by the Ritvik party. Curiously there are other instructions via conversations suggesting that this concept of ongoing rtvik initiation was far from what Srila Prabhupada had in mind after his physical departure -- but others have already relayed that information. So this new philosophy of disciplic tradition remains supported by controversial interpretations based on a very modest amount of evidence. And thus we debated endlessly. > > Most devotees trusted that GBC were telling the truth, anyone who questioned the zonal acarya system was banned, bullied and even shot. > Yes, the zonal acarya system has been recognized as an inapporpriate organizational policy with regards to the relationship between diksa gurus, the diksa disciples, and the rest of institution. But what that unfortunate experience has to do with understanding the eternal philosophy of KC does not necessarily connect. There is the famous analogy often used by Srila Prabhupada of removing the infection without removing the eye. ys, Sthita-dhi
