Taking a statement on face value could be foolish

Its also interesting to note that while insisting on a "face value"

approach to the July 9 letter, they also insist that this approach cannot be

applied to direct quotes from Srila Prabhupada that counter their invented

philosophy, such as the letter to Tusta krsna from Dec. 1975 and various

statements made in conversations etc.
