Guest guest
Dear devotees, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupad. I was shocked to see the above subject title. Atlast Ritvik Mayavadis have started gambling and breaking the 4th regulative principle. Sorry, I was busy and hence this late comment. Ofcourse this is highly polished gambling in the name of goodness (using the word donate). If some one wants to donate $100,000 to a project they could just donate. They don't have to bet the money and when they lose the bet then say 'Krishnarpanam". Is betting money breaking the 4th regulative Principle? > > If you can find somewhere in his books which clearly states that diksa > > absolutely requires physical presence I shall donate $100,000 to a project > > of your choice. Seeing the above mood of this *donor* I remember this story. Once a person was walking home, carrying some 'Atta' (wheat floor) in an open box, from the 'Chakki' (flour grinding mill). Suddenly the wind blew very hard and carried away all his 'Atta' into the air. As he anyway had lost the flour he said 'Krishnarpanam'. He did not have any idea of offering the Atta to Krishna, but as any way he had lost it to the air he wanted to get the benefit of offering. So he said 'Krishnarpanam' looking at the wheat flour flying in the air. Similarly the above donor wants to take the benefit of Danam (charity), on the money he loses in the above gambling. Your humble servant, Bhadra Govinda Das.
