Even in more 'ordinary' diksa relationships, the disciple spends a fairly nominal amount of time in direct physical association. As the saying goes, service in separation is the highest. Ultimately, the disciple needs to imbide the teachings of the Vaisnava acaryas in his heart, not simply hang on to their prospective physical presence as if wishing to become a modern age spiritual groupie. ys, Sthita-dhi
