considering their spiritual relations, but it is not something I feel

ATTRACTED to. [my emphasis]

Everyone is certainly free to make their own choices. But our choices are only

as good as our ability to discriminate.

There are 13 kinds of apasampradayic conclusions which an unguided soul (or

religious body) can become "ATTRACTED" to. Besides the *prakrta sahajiyas*

and the *bauls* are the a) *kartabhaja* and b) *sabha-bhaja* deviations

whereby a) one makes of cult-like sect from his particular Acarya and b) one

considers his own particular group the only bona fide path to follow

(respectively).

As a result of either of these misconceptions, one is thus unable to recognize

and honor advanced Vaisnavas in other "lines".

The "lines," however, are "lines drawn in the sand" in the minds of such

misguided followers. In Upadesamrta, Rupa Goswami has never offered such

sectarian "guidelines" for making spiritual advancement.

(NOI.5) krsneti yasya giri tam manasadriyeta....
