That's the spirit. The uttama-adhikari is self-effulgent means he manifests by his own potency not by other's glorification and such personalities are bound to come to continue & effectively spread the Krsna consciousness movement for the next 10,000 years. Maybe in the third generation of ISKCON devotees, among the children of the second generation grhastas. They will be born in Vaisnava families which is one of the symptoms of a self-effulgent acarya and there is great chance that some grhasta couple may attract a maha-bhagavata in the womb of the mother by the dint of their devotion. I heard Prabhupada also said that the third generation will become very powerful and they will ignite fire without match-box. Does anybody have the quote? Guest guest
I would also take a speculative guess as to when some especially empowered devotee might be sent to push KC onto the next level within human society, it might be after some period of time when us more ordinary souls have established a practical society of Vaisnavism worldwide based on a few generations of successful experience. By that time, I would at least anticipate that our general human society would feel a bit more comfortable with KC as being a small minority sect that has been practicing for generations within their own culture. For instance, I have seen a marked difference in attitute between young adults who have known the Hare Krsna Movement as being present in the West all their lives -- and lets say my parents, who view the Hare Krsna Movement as something descending out of a space ship from Mars during the wild and crazy '60's. I would also offer the speculation that it might be a positive development if India, by Krsna's grace, increased in it's standing among the worlds nations. After all, most people see KC as something coming from India. Of course, as Srila Bhaktisidhanta pointed out in his first meeting with Srila Prabhupada, Krsna consciousness does not need to wait for such things. In any event, based on my own reading of literature such as the Mahabharata, Krsna has a flair for drama and an impecable sense of timing. ys, Sthita >[Text 2636487 from COM] > >> So let us see who among followers of Srila Prabhupada >> have no ting of material aspiration but is fully dedicated to the service, >> who's heart is so pure that he cries chanting maha mantra, and who's >> preaching work is succesful. krsna sakti vina nahe tara pravartana (CC Ant >> 7.11) Let us see who can fulfill Srila Prabhupada orders. > >That's the spirit. Yes, ultimately Krsna will decide according to His own sweet will. The manifestation of a self-effulgent acarya is not dependant on the structural changes in ISKCON and political power changes in the world. Infact by his coming he will induce the much required structural changes for the better. Your servant, Nayana-ranjana das
Guest guest
Of course we don't need to wait for a sakyavesa avatara to perform the ongoing process of purification, either individually or as a community or institution. For instance, we understand that Krsna has descended in His for as the Hare Krsna Mantra -- like that. He is constantly extending Himself through His multifarious potencies. >[Text 2637134 from COM] > >> >> In any event, based on my own reading of literature such as the >> Mahabharata, Krsna has a flair for drama and an impecable sense of timing. > >Yes, ultimately Krsna will decide according to His own sweet will.
