Let us consider SP words from NOI text 5 : "An uttama adhikari is not

interested in blaspheming others, his heart is comletely clean, and he has

attained the realized state of unalloyed KC." and further "Out of many such

Vaisnavas, one may be found to be very seriously engaged in the service of

the Lord and strictly following all the regulative principles, chanting the

prescribed number of rounds on japa beads and always thinking of how to

expand the Krsna consciousness movement. Such a Vaisnava should be accepted

as an uttama adhikari, a highly advanced devotee, and his association should

always be sought."

Isn't it that first SP speaks of fully self realized soul and further of

uttama preacher with no mentioning of his inner realisations? In the beginig

of commentary to text 5 SP says "In order to inteligently apply (...) one

must select proper person with careful discrimination." and general

understanding comes forward of who is who. And three paragraphs over SP Says

"In Krsna consciousness movement a chance is giving to everyone..." and SP

explains further who is who in KC movement.

So my understanding is that even we dont have self eflugent uttama in

ISKCON, SP clearly describes such rare devotee "strictly following all the

regulative principles" who is not yet uttama, but whom we should treat as we

would treat uttama, Because characteristic of uttama is also described in

SB. 11.2.48-55. ie "One whose mind cannot be distracted from the lotus feet

of Krsna for even a single moment."

if you tried not to be silent then you were outcaste, and i know a person

who was not silent and he could not stay in any zone and any temple.

Without names, after years, in 1988, one ex Zonal acarya, was sorry to above

mentioned devotee for his bitter words, beacause that time ZA thought that

this devot was envious but years had shown that he was right.

So those who were inteligent were not silent.
