It was not said by him. Please let me clarify. If you re-read my text, you will see that I didn't say that Maharaja never answers any letters. I commented that it was sad that in that entire darsana, he never answered the question posed to him by the disciple (in the introductory paragraph). That was the question about what to do with their questions when Maharaja doesn't have the time to answer them. Instead of providing a practical answer re. where they can turn when he is too busy to answer them, he instead focused on why it's not necessary for the spiritual master to answer all of the disciples' questions. Thus, the original question was ignored. I don't mean to be picking on your Guru Maharaja. This is a much bigger problem in ISKCON than only one guru. We have countless members who are not receiving the care and guidance they need. Since *many* gurus have large numbers of disciples, we need to start figuring out how their disciples can receive sufficient care. Besides setting up systems whereby sr. disciples can help care for jr disciples, or disciples who need more support can take additional (informal or formal) siksa gurus, what other solutions can the members of these conferences think of?
