It does not matter whether they are Visnutattva or > jivatattva, saktyavesa-avatara. or plenary expansion. The incarnations > listed however may be classified as follows: > Visnutattva: Kapila, Nara Narayana, Rama, Balarama, Krsna, the Purusas, > the Boar, Yajna, Rsabha, Matsya, Kurma, Dhanvantari, Mohini and Kalki. > Jivatattva (empowered): Narada, Vyasa, Buddha, Kumaras, Dattatreya, Prthu > and Bhrgupati." I hope KK prabhu accepts this statement by Prabhupada that Vyasadeva is a jiva-tattva and does not ask for a more sastric proof, these being the words of a sadhu. I also hope he takes back his earlier statements that Vyasadeva is Visnu-tattva and so his works are sastras and works of the acaryas who are jiva-tattva, their writings are not. Going back to earlier discussion, KK prabhu had said that the conclusion that the works of the Goswamis are even sweeter than those of Vyasadeva is valid only if Vyasadeva was a jiva-tattva. Now that it has been proved that Vyasadeva is factually a jiva-tattva, KK prabhu should not have any problem in accepting that the Goswamis have even excelled Vyasadeva in compiling & writing the bhakti-smrti-sastras, because they have done so under the direct instructions of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the most munificent Supreme Personality of Godhead. I would like to conclude this discussion by quoting this beautiful verse from Cc Madhya 24.313 ahaˆ vedmi uko vetti vy€so vetti na vetti v€ bhakty€ bh€gavataˆ gr€hyaˆ na buddhy€ na ca ˜…kay€ “[Lord ®iva said:] ‘I may know; ®ukadeva Gosv€m…, the son of Vy€sadeva, may know; and Vy€sadeva may know or may not know ®r…mad-Bh€gavatam. On the whole, ®r…mad-Bh€gavatam, the spotless Pur€Ša, can be learned only through devotional service, not by material intelligence, speculative methods or imaginary commentaries.’” [Comment: If Siva & Sukadeva know then the Goswamis surely know without any doubt, but Vyasadeva may know or may not know.] Your servant, Nayana-ranjana das
