I read a com message by Mother Dhyanakunda on Topical Discussions. I

especially like the concluding paragraph which is relevant to our earlier

discussion:

 

 

"Of course, then one has to ask, What constitutes perfection/pure devotion/

and what have you? I suspect WE, the little followers, driven by our need

to feel secure in a simple black-and-white world without ambiguities,

first create these unrealistic Supermen, worship them, deny them honest

feedback, and when they don't quite measure up and perhaps also get

emotional problems due to all this unhealthy mass adulation, we tear them

down and it then becomes "that horrible falldown." The cheater and the

cheated is the same person."
