Guest guest
I defintely beg to differ with this following statement: <<<<<<He clearly remembers Prabhupada prohibiting all women from serving the Deities on the altar as pujaris in any temple in India. . ys. JMd>>>> Was this person EVER in India with His Divine Grasce? My goodness! Kausalya served Radha Madhava at the very public pandal during Bombay dieties begining from tdhe Akash Ganga days....... I recall being on the altar with Palika serving the Lotus Feet of Radha Govinda in Calcutta. And, when Srila Prabhupada went to Russia with my husband Shyamsundar, he entrusted me with the care of his own personal dieties, while I remained behind in India. Nevermind Yamuna who helped purchase and serve the famous Delhi Pandal dieties Who are now Radha Gokulananda at Bhaktivedanta Manor......Just for consideratiom

Guest guest
Yes, for years, while Srila Prabhupada was with us, the pujari for the Deities in Calcutta was a woman. I forget her name but she did a wonderful job and Srila Prabhupada was very pleased with her service. I guess we all are equipped with selective memory.
