Guest guest
Dear Trivikama Maharaja, Please accept my obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! In your reply Nov.21 to Srila dasa you say: " I didn't feel any offense Srila Prabhu, but I will say that I don't like the way you are appologizing to me and insulting Guru Krsna Prabhu in the same breath. I read his posting on this subject, please enlighten us in which place you have perceived his use of "cunning logic"." Did you read my letter to you Maharaja, upon which Srila Prabhu was commenting? I noticed that you replied to Srila but not to myself. The error Guru Krsna dasa makes is in saying that "preferential treatment" is the same as saying "equality". It isn't. So when Guru Krsna Prabhu goes on to argue against equality he is trying to defeat something which Bir Krsna Swami never said. This may be the 'cunning logic' or unfair debating trick which Srila is refering to. It is called 'straw man' argument, where you try and change your opponents original statement in order to make it easier to defeat. your servant and godsister, Lolad devi dasi loladd1 (AT) aol (DOT) com
