A >leader who doesn't LISTEN to his subordinates is INCOMPETENT and deserves to be removed from his post. > I am needing to know where in Srila Prabhupada's books is written the above quote, if this is possible for some of you. Thanks is advance. >ys, Sridhari devi dasi I don't have a specific quote handy, but this can be inferred from the various descriptions of KC rulers described in the Bhagavatam and elsewhere. Dhruva Maharaja, Prthu Maharaja, Lord Ramachandra, etc were all very conscientious of their constituents' needs, desires and concerns, so much so that Lord Ramachandra banished his own wife Sita, who was faultless, to remove any doubts about his character and ability to rule. "Caesar's wife must be above suspicion," as Prabhupada would quote. Another example: it required the assembled brahmanas to collectively organize and depose Maharaja Vena. It is understood that Vena was not only atheistic but violating the basic rights of the citizens. Above and beyond that, being attuned to feedback is simply the basis for sound managerial policy. Furthermore, the very principle of cooperation is undermined by an insensitive or egomanic leader. I would suggest that this is self-evident. Respectfully, Srila dasa

I think a folio search of "grievance" might pull up this purport.
