I also as a westerner, I have been living in India for quite some years, and my appreciation for it has not diminished a bit. Yes, there is always a bad apple in sack. That is a fact of life. All the abnormalities that may be going on today in India are confined mainly to the Indian cities which is only 20% of Indians. The real Indian life is in the villages. Actually the corrupt Indian villages are the ones that may have been visited by westerners like you. Since you don't see the difference between a follower of Vedic culture and a Christian, I guess you don't see nothing wrong in killing and eating cows.
