In the January 1998 i was personally present when Godavari dasi, the

disciple of Krsna Ksetra Prabhu, passed away. I was not able to judge her

inner state of consciousness, but from the outer symptoms of her and my

personal feelings i was able to examine that she was Krsna Conscious during

the moment of death. Two hours before she died, the thought had appeared in

my mind that she would pass at 7h15 PM as Srila Prabhupada did and that

Srila Prabhupada would personally help her. At the 7h15 PM i looked at the

devotee-nurse who was keeping Godavari's hand and she shaked her head that

Godavari passed in that moment. We were so blisfull chanting Hare Krsna,

that the doctor who came an hour later was surprised.

This is just my personal conviction based on this experience, that even

though my guru may or may not be an uttama devotee, but if he is fully

engaged in the service and i sincerely try to follow in the footsteps, Srila

Prabhupada will give us the full mercy of an Uttama devotee as he is.

Although i am not sure whether Srila Prabhupada passed away at 7h15 PM or

7h30 PM, because i have read both hours, but anyway it does not change my

conviction.

I can't tell exactly in which page it is, but for sure i have read it in the

commentary of Srila Prabhupada in the Bhagavad Gita or the First Canto

Srimad Bhagavatam: That's why, those who cooperate with the full time

preachers will achieve the same result as they will.
